There are lots of issues with overproduction in farming and farm subsidies by the US government. Could a deal be made with China to swap US farmers overproduction for US treasuries. It would only amount to a slight reduction in debt relief but at the same time it might save money on the home front and support commondity prices for farmers. China would be able to help its people by food relief during this tough time.
