I think that a flat tax system for individuals would be more efficient and fair. All foodstuffs, electricity, gas, and medicines would not be taxed. Essentially what I am talking about is a national sales tax on all goods and commodities not listed above (foods, gas, electricity, & medicine). Please explain to me in detail how this would/would not be fair?

He even argued that tax cuts must be matched with spending reductions. His fiscal resposibility earned him opposition from both parties. Look it up, he has a long record.

Why were Republicans dumb enough to fall for the very un-conservative George W. Bush? Why didn’t the GOP nominate an actual conservative back in 2000?
